In all the moves I have made in my adult life I have never experienced a mover that comes close to being comparable. They arrived when they said they would and worked quickly and effeciently. With regards to my move, they easily moved a piano, uninstalled and re-installed several items at my request, and were careful not to stain new carpet. They were friendly and put everyone at ease during a stressful situation. They work hard and get the job done right. We used Hewes Family Movers to move from an apartment to our house and had an excellent experience. Due to elevator problems at our apartment complex, the move took much longer than originally anticipated; however, Hewes did not change the price they quoted us! I can’t imagine many other movers would do this. They were extremely professional and polite and wonderful to work with. I’ve had three other friends/family use Hewes and had the same great experiences!
For anyone that cares about their “stuff” Hewes is the best there is. From beginning to end this move went smoothly. Not only did these movers show up exactly on time but they were friendly, professional, clean-cut, courteous and careful(with the yard, the furniture, the walls, the floor, etc.). These are the only movers I’ve ever had ever that didn’t look like seedy characters and creep me out. These were actually 2 well-educated normal guys that moved our stuff. You’ll have to see it for yourself to believe it. My husband and I didn’t think movers like this actually existed but they do. These movers were highly recommended by a friend who used them. Nobody likes to move but if you have to, trust me, you won’t be disappointed with Hewes.
